Behind the moniker Meadows hides Örebro artist and songwriter Christoffer Wadensten. With over 50 million streams, placements on top charts in the USA, UK, Australia, Germany, Canada, New Zealand, Ireland, Taiwan, and tours all over the world, Meadows might be one of Swedens more well-kept secrets.
In 2016, the debut EP "The Only Boy Awake" was released, where the title track was picked up by Netflix and used in the series "13 Reasons Why", and in 2020, the first full-length album "The Emergency Album" was released on the American record label AntiFragile.

The music is both idiosyncratic and nostalgic, drawing upon a masters degree in composition and a background in indie rock.
Stemming from this musical approach, the lyrics also take centre stage, often characterised by heart-wrenching melancholy dressed in absurdist turns of phrase.
